"...such a creative way God expressed His love to us"
We were blessed to have Mike and Cherrie Kaylor with us for a series of weekend meetings. During one of the sessions Cherrie told us a unique story about a personal experience with the Lord in which she began to relate a dime to a kiss from her Heavenly Father. So whenever she finds a dime it simply makes her think of Him and His great love for us.
For the next few weeks people were continually giving me testimonies of finding dimes in unusual places and how it made them feel God was showing them His love. After about a month we were having our Sunday service and during worship dimes began to fall in front of the platform in the alter area. I was standing on the front row and while I was watching what was happening someone pointed behind me and as I turned there was a dime right in the middle of my bible and our associate pastor's bible.
That night people were finding dimes in the bathrooms and everywhere. One man went in to the Men's restroom and came out with a dime, then three other men went into the restroom and all came out with dimes. People were even finding dimes on their car windows and windshields. That same night one of the couples in our church took the guest speakers to the airport and on the way back they stopped at a convenience store for snacks. They were waiting in line at the checkout and just as they stepped forward for their turn at the register the cashier said "where did these two dimes come from, I just cleaned off this counter"?
What a great night and such a creative way God expressed His love to us. Since that night the testimonies of His love, in the form of finding dimes, have not stopped.
